THORNAPPLE TOWNSHIP, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — A Middleville teen is dead after a crash in Barry County.
It happened just after 6:30 p.m. Monday on Garbow Road near Ashley Lane in Thornapple Township.
Deputies say that 18-year-old Alisabeth Swanson was traveling westbound on Garbow when she ran off the roadway and struck a tree.
She was ejected from the vehicle and killed.
Swanson was transported to WMED in Kalamazoo for an autopsy but investigators do not believe alcohol was a factor in the crash.
