PAVILION TOWNSHIP, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — A search for a missing person on a Kalamazoo County lake is now ending.
The Michigan State Police Dive team and the Kalamazoo County Dive team have recovered the body of 41-year-old Clifford Ferree of Portage after an extensive search in Long Lake.
It began around 4:30 p.m. Saturday on the southwest side of the lake in Pavilion Township after a report of a person in the water.
Ferree’s body was apparently recovered around 7:30 p.m. Sunday, but investigators did not identify the victim until Monday morning.
No other information has been released at this time.
