MASON TOWNSHIP, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — A two-car crash has claimed the life of an Indiana woman in Cass County.
It occurred around 5 p.m. Monday at the intersection of Kessington Road and US-12 in Mason Township.
Deputies say a 20-year-old from Indianapolis was traveling northbound on Kessington when he blew through the stop sign and hit a vehicle traveling on US-12.
The driver that was hit was identified as 68-year-old Margaret Willis of Elkhart. She was extricated from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash is still under investigation.
