PORTAGE, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — The City of Portage will start its Summer Mill & Fill program Thursday, beginning with the stretch of Oakland Drive from Shaver Road to West Osterhout Avenue.
According to an official press release, the purpose of the program is to remove decaying parts of various roads and coat them with 1.5 inches of new asphalt.
