CASSOPOLIS, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — The Cass County Sheriffs’ Office is investigating a three-car crash that sent one to the hospital.
The accident happened around 2 p.m. Friday in the area of US-12 and Kensington Road when the injured driver, Betty Jo Gourley, a 49 year old female from Dowogiac, was traveling west bound when a vehicle, driven by Haley Nichole Harmon an 18 year old female from Elkhart Indiana, pulled out in front, causing her to crash into Harmons’ vehicle and the trailer of a third vehicle.
Gourley was treated for her injuries and transported to Elkhart General Hospital.
Even though the crash remains under investigation, authorities say that speed and alcohol were not contributing factors.
