ALAMO TOWNSHIP, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — An investigation is underway after an apparent drowning on a Kalamazoo County lake.
Deputies were called to Twin Lakes off of Ravine Road in Alamo Township around 5:30 p.m. Sunday after they received reports of a drowning victim.
When they arrived they found a 51-year-old man who they believe was kayaking and fell into the lake where he later drowned.
UPDATE: The Kalamazoo County Sheriff’s Office has identified the victim as 51-year-old Richard John Weston of Kalamazoo. The incident is still under investigation at this time.
