SCHOOLCRAFT, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — A driver is seriously injured following a crash involving a semi near Schoolcraft.
It happened 5 a.m. Wednesday on US-131 near West U Avenue.
Kalamazoo County Sheriff deputies say the driver blew through a red light at the intersection and collided with a semi that was traveling southbound on US-131.
The semi truck driver was not injured but the at fault driver was rushed to the hospital with serious injuries.
The crash shut down portions of southbound 131 throughout the morning but it has since been cleared.
