DEARBORN, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Gas prices in Michigan are up 11¢ from last week, starting Monday at $3.98 a gallon. AAA Michigan says the price is down 10-cents from Wednesday when the state hit a record high for 2026 at $4.08 a gallon.
The price is up 38¢ from last month and 88¢ higher than last year.
A 15-gallon tank on average in Michigan now costs $60.
The most expensive gas in the state is in Benton Harbor at $4.11, and the lowest price is in Flint at $3.88.
In southwest Michigan, prices are the lowest in Calhoun County at $3.95, followed by Allegan County at $3.99, St Joseph County at $4.03, Van Buren County at $4.04, Kalamazoo County at $4.06, Cass County at $4.07, Barry County at $4.08, and Berrien County at $4.10.
