KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – The National Weather Service issued a half-dozen tornado warnings in southwest Michigan last night as a severe storm ripped through the area.
The first tornado warning was issued for Kalamazoo and Van Buren counties, with more warnings issued for St. Joseph and Cass counties.
Another tornado warning was in place for Kalamazoo and Van Buren counties, and the last two were for Calhoun and Kalamazoo counties.
The alerts began just before 6 p.m.
