WEST BLOOMFIELD TOWNSHIP, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – The FBI says the attack on March 12th at Temple Israel in West Bloomfield Township was a Hezbollah-inspired terrorism act against Michigan’s Jewish community.
FBI Detroit Special Agent in Charge Jennifer Runyan says the suspect created a Facebook album called “Vengeance.”
Runyan says his final search online was for “what time is lunch at Temple Israel.”
U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Michigan Jerome Gorgon says his office would have easily been able to convict the suspect.
He sent two videos in Arabic to his sister before crashing his pickup truck into the synagogue, saying “God willing, I will kill as many of them as I possibly can.”
