DEARBORN, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Gas prices in Michigan are at their highest level since August, 2023.
AAA Michigan says the average price is up 33¢ from last week to $3.92 a gallon, which is $1.07 more than last month and up 74¢ from last year.
A 15-gallon tank of gas in Michigan costs $59.
The state’s most expensive fuel is in Ann Arbor and Marquette at $3.95, and the lowest price is in Traverse City at $3.75.
In southwest Michigan, the price is lowest in Van Buren County at $3.84, with Calhoun County at $3.86, Berrien and Allegan counties at $3.90, Cass and St. Joseph counties at $3.92, Kalamazoo County a penny higher at $3.93, and Barry County at $3.98.
