KALAMAZOO, MIM (WKZO AM/FM) – Spring break begins at the end of this week in Kalamazoo-area public school districts.
Kalamazoo Public Schools superintendent Darrin Slade says this is a good time for parents to go online and check up on their students’ progress, if they haven’t looked in a while.
Unless parents request it, students don’t come home with a report card needing a parent’s signature like the old days. Most of it is done online, where parents can review their student’s performance in more detail, and before they start picking which students are going to need summer school.
Any parents who aren’t signed up should contact their school to get instructions on how to do it.
Students will get the first week of April off and resume classes the following week.
