DEARBORN, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Michigan drivers are paying ten-cents a gallon less to fill the gas tank than last week.
Triple-A Michigan says the average price is now $2.86, up one-cent from last month and 24-cents less than last year.
A 15-gallon tank costs $42 on average in the state.
Michigan’s highest price is $2.96 in Ann Arbor, and Traverse City has the least expensive gas at $2.54 a gallon.
In southwest Michigan, Van Buren County has the lowest price at $2.71, followed by Cass County at $2.77, Calhoun County at $2.79, Allegan County at $2.81, Berrien County at $2.84, Kalamazoo and St. Joseph counties at $2.88, and the highest price in southwest Michigan is in Barry County at $2.98.
