DEARBORN, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – It is 11¢ a gallon more expensive to fill the gas tank in Michigan to start the week.
Triple-A Michigan says the average price is now up to $2.81, which is 10¢ lower than last month and down 23¢ from last year.
A 15-gallon tank of gas costs $42 on average in the state.
Michigan’s highest price is in Ann Arbor at $2.91, and Traverse City has the lowest prices at $2.66 a gallon.
In southwest Michigan, Berrien County has the lowest average price at $2.75, followed by Allegan County at $2.79, Van Buren County at $2.80, Calhoun and Cass counties at $2.82, St. Joseph County at $2.87, Kalamazoo County at $2.88, and Barry County has the highest price in the area at $2.95.
