LANSING, MI — Santa’s helpers from the Bottomless Toy Chest will make sure that hospitalized children will have a holiday to remember by delivering “Tons of Toys” to some of Lansing’s youngest hospital patients.
Children receiving care at UM Health-Sparrow Lansing will receive brand new holiday gifts straight from the North Pole filled with fun, love and joy, according to a press release. The brand new toys will be delivered at UM-Health/Sparrow on Tuesday (Dec. 9) 11:00 a.m.
The Bottomless Toy Chest will remain on site giving away toys until 12:30 p.m. The Bottomless Toy Chest is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization devoted to delivering art projects, crafts and interactive toys to hospitalized pediatric patients.
“Something as simple as a new toys will make the ordeal these brave children face every day just a little easier and can give them the will and strength the fight back,” said Mickey Guisewite, Founder and Executive Director of the Bottomless Toy Chest. “It is also my hope and prayer that these new toys will also make the holiday season a bit brighter for these children and their families.”
