HOWARD TOWNSHIP, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – A two-car crash Friday night in Cass County’s Howard Township has injured two drivers.
The sheriff’s office says 44-year-old Nicholas Rice of Kalamazoo was heading north on Barron Lake Road when his vehicle hit a patch of ice, causing him to lose control and smash into a southbound vehicle.
The southbound car was driven by 61-year-old Stephen Rambeaux of Niles, and he was taken by ambulance to South Bend Memorial Hospital to be treated for his injuries.
Rice was treated at the scene and released.
The crash happened around 6:15 p.m. and remains under investigation by deputies.
