DEARBORN, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Gas prices in Michigan are 15¢ a gallon lower than last week.
Triple-A Michigan says the average price is now $2.96, 5¢ less than last month and 14¢ less than last year.
A 15-gallon tank of gas costs $44 around the state, which is $13 lower than the highest price in July 2024.
Ann Arbor has the highest price in the state at $3.02, while Traverse City has the lowest price at $2.63.
In southwest Michigan, the lowest prices are in Berrien County at $2.88, followed by Calhoun and Van Buren counties at $2.92, St. Joseph County at $2.96, Allegan County at $3, Kalamazoo County at $3.02, Cass County at $3.05, and Barry County at $3.16.
