LIVONIA, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Former Battle Creek police officer Hunter Barnett will be on probation for a year after he pointed a gun at another officer when they were both off-duty and at a Livonia hotel in May.
Barnett was fired by the Battle Creek Police Department and pled guilty to possessing a firearm under the influence.
The officers were at a Holiday Inn Express when they were attending a training course at Schoolcraft College.
Barnett was drunk when he pointed the gun at the other officer.
