EAST LANSING, MI — The East Lansing Police Department has confirmed that a body was found in the Red Cedar River near the Michigan State University campus on Sunday night.
According to a report from WLNS 6 News in Lansing, ELPD said the body was found in the Red Cedar River, “just east of Cedar Village.” MSU Police said in a news release sent to 6 News that ELPD is conducting the investigation.
ELPD and MSU officials reported in the release that they do not believe there is any ongoing threat to the community.
