BATTLE CREEK, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Battle Creek has fired police officer Hunter Barnett.
Barnett pointed a gun at another Battle Creek officer when they were both off-duty and at a Holiday Inn Express hotel in Livonia on May 16th of this year.
Police Chief Shannon Bagley says the officer was fired in September after they completed their internal investigation.
Barnett and the other officer were at a training course at Schoolcraft College when it happened.
