OTSEGO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – A 37-year-old Otsego man was charged this week with arson and contributing to the delinquency of a minor as a habitual offender for starting a fire that destroyed a playground earlier this month.
Otsego Police and Fire Director Brad Misner says Michael Lewis Kilbourn was arraigned Tuesday on charges of 3rd degree Arson, Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor, and Habitual 4th offense. His bond was set at $200,000 cash/surety.
He was already in the Allegan County Jail on separate charge.
The arson did between $45,000 and $50,000 damage at Northside Park in early September.
A juvenile has also been charged with 3rd degree Arson.
