BELLEVUE, MI — The Village of Bellevue is under a boil water advisory at least until Friday, September 12, according to an announcement by the city. Bellevue city officials say this is due to a positive Total Coliform test at one of the city’s water sampling sites.
“Please boil drinking water for at least two minutes before consuming,” the city warns residents in a press release.
The advisory will be lifted once a negative test result is finalized, the city states. The city adds that the water is safe to use for hygiene and bathing purposes.
Bellevue is located in southwest Eaton County. It has a population of approximately 3,200 people.
