KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – The County Road Association of Michigan has released its list of the best fall color tours in the state for 2025.
Peak fall color is expected between October 6 and November 8, with southwest Michigan’s colors on full display between October 25th and November 8th.
For Kalamazoo County, they suggest a 51-mile route starting at the intersection of 29th Street and Q Avenue in the east part. For northern Kalamazoo County, start from the intersection of 33rd Street and G Avenue for 45 miles, and for southern Kalamazoo County, start from the intersection of 8th Street and O Avenue for 73 miles.
Other terrific routes in southwest Michigan include M-63 from the Van Buren County line to St. Joseph, Blue Star Memorial Highway from Van Buren County, and Red Arrow Highway from Stevensville to New Buffalo.
