CENTREVILLE, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – A Centreville couple’s fourth child was born last Monday morning in the parking lot of the McDonald’s restaurant in Schoolcraft.
Kevin Rotunda was driving 100-miles-an-hour trying to get his wife, Alyce, to Bronson Hospital in Kalamazoo to have the baby and she was high risk and had complications during her first three births.
They had been at the hospital Saturday with Alyce believing she was in labor, but was sent back home.
Late Sunday, things escalated and she gave birth to daughter Matilda, with Kevin catching her and the ambulance arriving about five to ten minutes later to take them to the hospital.
A Schoolcraft police officer held a flashlight as he caught the baby.

It seems like the hospitals down here in Three Rivers are about a joke! Somebody needs to change that
