KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Kalamazoo city commissioners will be holding a special meeting this afternoon to consult with the search firm that is looking for candidates to become the city’s new manager.
The consultant will not only be doing a nationwide search for candidates but also recruiting potential applicants and marketing the city to attract the best possible professionals to the opening.
Vice Mayor Jeanne Hess is heading up the commission’s search subcommittee says they will also be getting an update on the next steps.
The meeting will begin at 5 p.m. at City Hall.
