The former Hooters restaurant in south Lansing to be renovated by new owners

LANSING —  The former Hooters building in south Lansing has been sold and the new owners say they plan to redevelop the long-vacant restaurant building.

The building, located on East Edgewood Boulevard in Lansing, has been vacant since the Hooters restaurant there closed in July 2019. The property is located near Celebration Cinemas and Texas Roadhouse.

According to various media reports, the developer purchased the property for over $4 million and intends to find one or more commercial users for the business space. The building will need renovating.
