LANSING, MI — Your daily commute quite possibly took a turn for the better on Monday. The Michigan Department of Transportation says it reopened ramps on US127 to westbound and eastbound I96 in south Lansing.
The ramps have been closed since April when construction on southbound US127 began. Since then drivers have been forced to follow detours, which added a number of miles to their commutes.
Meanwhile, several ramps in the area remain closed, including the EB I96 ramp to NB US127 and the WB I96 ramp to SB US127. Those ramps are expected to reopen later later this month.
