Heat Advisory in effect today across mid-Michigan

LANSING, MI — Hot and humid conditions will persist across mid-Michigan today. The National Weather Service has posted Heat Advisories for most of mid-Michigan, expiring at 8:00 p.m. today.

Meteorologists say it’s the high dew point temperatures that make it feel so miserable. Dew point temperatures will stay in the mid to low-70s, helping to boost feels-like temperatures into the triple digits.

However, we will begin to see some relief throughout the rest of the work week, with cooler temperatures returning to the forecast, but temps still mostly in the mid-80s.
