LANSING, MI — Habitat for Humanity Capital Region is hosting “Women Build Week” in Lansing this week.
Tim Soule, Director of Development and Community Partnerships, told Media Partner 6 News WLNS that around 100 volunteers will participate in Women Build Week efforts at several sites across the city. This week’s projects will take place in conjunction with Lansing Intentional Communities and The People’s Church of East Lansing, as the groups team up to to provide housing for adults with disabilities in the Capital City.
Habitat also operates three ReStore retails locations throughout the mid-Michigan area. Habitat ReStores in Lansing, St. Johns, and Williamston will have big clearance sections with sale items, clearing out merchandise from three large warehouses on Saturday, June 7, during the ReStore Sidewalk Sale.
