QUINCY, MI (WTVB)— Today, the Quincy Community Schools Board of Education is holding three public meetings to kick off the search for a new superintendent, as current Superintendent Marc Kramer prepares to retire on next month. These meetings, facilitated by Mark Palmer of the Michigan Association of School Boards (MASB), aim to gather input from staff and residents on the qualities and skills needed in the district’s next leader.
The meetings are scheduled today at the Quincy Community Schools administrative offices and high school gymnasium:
– 2:00–2:30 p.m.: Central Office Staff, Admin Building
– 3:30–4:15 p.m.: All Staff, High School Gymnasium
– 6:00–6:45 p.m.: Staff and Community, Admin Building
Community members and staff are encouraged to share their perspectives to help shape the candidate selection process for the district. The hope is to have a new Superintendent in place by July.
