DEARBORN, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Michigan’s average gas price is 17¢ a gallon higher than last week.
Triple-A Michigan says the average price is now $3.21 a gallon, down 5¢ from last month and 40¢ lower than last year.
Lansing has the state’s highest price at $3.27, and Traverse City has the lowest price at $3.02.
A 15-gallon tank costs $48 on average in the state.
In southwest Michigan, Cass County has the lowest average price at $3.15, followed by St. Joseph County at $3.18. Allegan County is at $3.22, followed by Van Buren County at $3.24, Calhoun County at $3.26, Kalamazoo County at $3.28, and Barry County at $3.29.
