LANSING, MI — A fire outside Spare Time Entertainment in Lansing on Monday morning has resulted in the business being temporarily closed. A fire in a trailer adjacent to the building caused damage to the building, according to Spare Time’s owners. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
In a message shared with the radio stations, the owners say the building’s Capital Room suffered damage. Here is the rest of their message describing the current situation:
Spare Time patrons,
Currently, Spare Time Entertainment is closed as we suffered a structure fire on Monday, April 28. Most importantly, all of our team members were able to evacuate safely and no one was injured. We do not know when we will re-open as we are just starting to survey the damage.
If you had an event or reservation planned with us, we are so sorry. Someone from our events team will be in touch with you. We would like to thank the Lansing Fire & Police departments for their quick response and hard work. We ask you to please bear with us as we navigate this challenge. We will re-open!
