EAST LANSING, MI — Wharton Center’s 2025-2026 Performing Arts Season offers a bit of everything; comedy, variety shows, classical and jazz music, and family entertainment. Subscription packages go on sale today at 9:00 a.m. There are 31 shows in all on the Performing Arts Season schedule.
“This season brings together passionate stories and immersive cultural experiences from across the globe, connecting our community with the world around us,” said Wharton Center Executive Director Eric Olmscheid. “The 31 shows we’re announcing today demonstrate our mission: to inspire and empower community through meaningful performing arts experiences.”
Highlights include the Vienna Boys Choir: Christmas in Vienna on Nov. 30, the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra with Ray Chen on Jan. 26, 2026 and the Simon and Garfunkel Story on March 22, 2026.
“We’re especially proud to welcome back two spectacular ensembles: London’s Royal Philharmonic Orchestra with violin virtuoso Ray Chen, celebrating their 80th season, and the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra led by Wynton Marsalis,” Olmscheid added.
