KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – The Road Commission of Kalamazoo County has been honored with three statewide IMPRESS Awards from the County Road Association.
The award presentation was made at the Michigan Highway Conference held in late March in Lansing. IMPRESS Awards recognize county road agencies that demonstrate innovation on noteworthy projects in the categories of Communications, Operations and Collaboration.
This year, RCKC received IMPRESS Awards for Collaboration with its Davis Olmstead Project, which the state group said showcased effective partnerships in completing complex drain projects, Communications for its Onsite Project Informational Meetings that enhanced public engagement, and Operations for its new state-of-the-art road commission facility, boosting overall operational efficiency.
An independent panel of communications and operations experts from several of Michigan’s 83 county road agencies judged all IMPRESS Awards submissions.
