Woman pleads guilty to 2022 murder and arson, sentenced in Kalamazoo

KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – A woman has pled guilty to second-degree murder and second-degree arson in the death of James Travis in Kalamazoo Township in 2022.

Shawna Kroeger will serve between 18-and-30-years in prison for the crime. Co-defendant Andrew McCormack is awaiting trial.

Travis was 53 and died in the house fire at Shakespeare Avenue and Egleston Drive on June 18, 2022.
