Mayor of Sarnia, Ontario requests all U.S. flags be removed from city properties

SARNIA, ONTARIO (WKZO AM/FM) – The mayor of Sarnia, Ontario has issued a request to have all U.S. flags removed from city properties.

Mayor Mike Bradley says he considered making the request back in January when President Trump announced a 25% tariff on all imports from Canada and Mexico.

Bradley says the economic impact of the trade war “is going to be devastating” and says Trump is doing “economic terrorism” with the tariff threat.

He says many residents have contacted his office on the trade issues and the President calling Canada the 51st state.
