LANSING, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – The state House has approved a $3.1-billion plan to fund fixing Michigan’s roads.
House Speaker Matt Hall says all of the taxes collected at the pump will be put toward roads as part of their plan, which Democrats argue would hurt local services.
Hall says the Republican plan passed yesterday will include over $1.5-billion to fix local roads.
Governor Whitmer proposed her own plan earlier this year.
