DEARBORN, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – The cost of a gallon of gas in Michigan is 8¢ higher to start the week.
Triple-A Michigan says the price is now $3.04, which is 53¢ less than last year.
A 15-gallon fill-up costs $45 on average.
Michigan’s highest price is in Marquette at $3.08 and Traverse City has the state’s lowest price at $2.88 a gallon.
In southwest Michigan, Cass County has the lowest average price at $2.99, followed by Kalamazoo, St. Joseph and Van Buren counties at $3, Calhoun County at $3.02,, and Allegan and Barry counties at $3.06.
