KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Two suspects are now charged in two separate shootings in Kalamazoo.
Kalamazoo Public Safety says 20-year-old Dominique Motton and 18-year-old Javion Jackson are charged in an October 2024 shooting on Gull Road and December 3, 2024 outside the Little Caesars in the 4200 block of West Main Street.
They were charged in the shooting at Little Caesars this week after both being in custody for the Gull Road incident. Jackson has been in custody since January 15 and Motton was arrested February 28.
Jackson is charged with 22 counts from the December shooting including seven counts of assault with intent to murder, while Motton faces 18 charges from that shooting, also including seven assault with intent to murder counts.
Kalamazoo Public Safety says the Little Caesars shooting case is now closed, but they are still investigating possible charges against more people for the Gull Road shooting.
