PORTAGE, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – The Portage community has rallied behind Walgreens employee TJ Day, who was hit and injured while riding his bicycle home from work just before 11 p.m. February 18.
His sister, Kelli Day, says over $20,000 has been raised for her brother, who was in a snowbank for about 20 minutes before a good Samaritan saw him and called police.
She says the donations will be used by TJ to buy a car so he won’t have to keep riding a bike everywhere he goes.
