BATTLE CREEK, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – One of the two teenagers who attacked and killed Battle Creek Central High School senior Jack Snyder in a February 2023 carjacking will spend between 35-and-60-years in prison.
Justice Chimner was just 14 when he shot and killed Snyder and pled guilty in December to felony murder.
Snyder was heading home from his girlfriend’s birthday party when he offered Chimner and 13-year-old Dewond Estes the Third a ride home due to how cold it was that night.
Estes was sentenced in January to a blended sentence in a juvenile facility, and Marcus Parsons has a hearing this month on several charges in the case.
