LANSING, MI — The Lansing Public School District plans a press conference Monday morning to discuss the highest graduation rates ever recorded by the school district.
New numbers released from the state of Michigan confirm the Lansing School District’s four-year graduation rate stands at 88.34%, the highest in its history. This dramatic improvement represents a 26% increase over three years. During that same period, the district realized a 12% decrease in its dropout rate.
“Our recent graduation rates are amazing,” said Superintendent Ben Shudiner. “Our educators, students, and families deserve a standing ovation and applause for their hard work and success.”
