BATTLE CREEK, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – The Battle Creek Cereal Sale will happen Friday, March 7 to benefit the Battle Creek community.
It’s sponsored by Post Consumer Brands and WK Kellogg Company, with the companies offering 10,000 boxes of cereal for $2 each on National Cereal Day.
United Way of South Central Michigan president and executive officer Chris Sargent says the collaboration between the two competitors shows the power of partnership in supporting the community.
Volunteers from both firms will join United Way staff members to run the event at Full Blast at 35 Hamblin Avenue West in Battle Creek, with doors open from 4 to 6 p.m.
There is no limit to how many boxes people can purchase.
