PORTAGE, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – The city of Portage wants to turn part of their town into a village-like setting. We have reported on their plans for the Lake Center District before.
Next week, the city will host a second open house to get public comments and ideas on their plans, which includes new zoning regulations, road improvements and street scaping along the “Portage Road 360” project from Centre Avenue to Osterhout Road.
Here’s councilmember Chris Burns.

The next session is scheduled for next Wednesday, the 19th, at the Portage Zhang Senior Center from 5:30 to 7 p.m.
