KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Watch for most of the area, including Kalamazoo and Calhoun counties, from early Wednesday afternoon until Thursday morning.
The NWS office in Grand Rapids says generally four to eight inch totals are possible. Snow may fall up to one inch per hour Wednesday evening, slowing down travel speeds substantially.
They call Thursday a “dig-out day.” Temperatures will be in the 20s to teens, and wind chills in the teens to single digits.
