LEE TOWNSHIP, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – A 23-year-old Allegan County man is facing charges for the murder of his mother in September 2024.
Craig Mills was arrested by the Berrien County Sheriff’s Office on September 17, the day police believe Mable Mills was killed at their home in Lee Township.
She was found September 19 and he had been living with her at the time.
Mills was arrested for being involved in a traffic crash driving her car and for resisting officers. He remains in the Berrien County Jail on those charges.
The Allegan County Prosecuting Attorneys Office charged him Monday with open murder.
