KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – The commute Wednesday evening is expected to be tricky in west Michigan, as freezing rain is in the forecast for tomorrow.
Up to a tenth-of-an-inch of ice is likely, especially along and south of Interstate 94 from Kalamazoo to the Indiana border.
Meteorologists are cautioning that travel will be dangerous anywhere that has received a tenth-of-an-inch of ice.
Highs Thursday are projected in the mid-30s, which will help melt the ice off of trees and power lines.
