DEARBORN, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Gas prices are down six-cents a gallon on average in Michigan compared to last week.
Triple-A Michigan says the average price in the state is now $3.03, down 14-cents from last month and one-cent higher than last year.
A 15-gallon tank costs an average of $45 in Michigan.
The state’s highest price is in metro Detroit at $3.14 and the most affordable gas is in Benton Harbor and Grand Rapids at $2.89.
In southwest Michigan, Triple-A says St. Joseph County has the lowest average at $2.84, followed by Kalamazoo County at $2.87, Allegan County at $2.88, Van Buren County at $2.89, Calhoun County at $2.96, and Barry and Cass counties at $2.97.
