AUDIO: Kalamazoo Candle Company moving to former V & A Bootery building

KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – The Kalamazoo Candle Company is moving next door to their current location as owners Adam McFarlin and his wife Kelly Robertson have purchased the historic V & A Bootery building.

McFarlin says they are moving to 202 South Kalamazoo Mall, which is about 60% more room.

The store will expand its do-it-yourself options and add a window to the production room to allow customers to see them making the candles. Other small businesses and artisans will also be able to rent some of the space to sell their products.

McFarlin says their new space will include nods to the building’s past along with the history of Kalamazoo.

Kalamazoo Candle Company products are available at all Fresh Thyme Market locations, at Whole Foods stores in the Midwest, and over 1,000 other stores.
