LANSING, MI — Lansing’s Capital Region International Airport is reporting that an American Airlines flight, scheduled to arrive in Lansing around 4:30 p.m. today and then depart back to the nation’s capital, has been cancelled. The flights were canceled after the tragic AA crash last night that shut down all operations at Reagan National Airport until at least 11:00 a.m. this morning.
Other airports in Michigan today are also reporting that they are dealing with numerous canceled flights to and from Washington’s Reagan National Airport.
Officials believe there are no survivors from the accident after the passenger with 64 people aboard collided with an Army helicopter ear Reagan Washington National Airport and fell into the frigid Potomac River.
